Although PAT Testing isn’t a legal requirement there are many work regulations that business’s need to adhere to. Heath and Safety Act 1974, The Electricity at Work Regulation 1989, The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998. Also and increasingly insurance companies are stipulating that PAT be carried out as a condition of the cover.
Services
PAT Testing
- We work to the standards set in the IEE Code of Practice for In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.
- The testing of domestic and commercial appliances.
- Dedicated to PAT Testing only and will work 3rd party with local tradespeople.
Certification
- All items that are tested will come with a unique ID number.
- Once the tests are completed you will receive a report listing all pass/fail items. You can also either have a emailed or a paper certificate to use as proof that all electrical items have been through a PAT Test.
- Reminders when your testing is due.
Plugs and fuses
Where possible minor repairs, broken plug cases will be fixed and rewired. Also fuses will be changed if necessary, or faulty. These are done free of charge.
Price
At Watt Wise we like to keep it simple (like our website). We charge a flat rate of £45 and this includes the first ten items. Every additional item is £2 there after.
No VAT or surprises
PAT testing is classed as maintenance and repair, making it completely tax deductible.
